With their upcoming tour with Minus The Bear only a few weeks away, These Arms Are Snakes has announced the departure of drummer, Ben Verelllen who replaced founding drummer Joe Preston last January.

Verellen performed on the band's full length debut, Oxeneers or The Lion Sleeps When Its Antelope Go Home as well as their split with split EP with Seattle's Harkonen. He will be replaced by Chris Common, who recently toured with Bob Nanna's City on Film.

The band will be joined on the aforementioned tour by openers Thunderbirds Are Now!, Criteria, The New Trust and Pedro The Lion side project Headphones.
