"In regards to the recent posting and net discussion about the censorship of Leftover Cracks upcoming LP "Shoot the Kids at School" which has sparked concern about Epitaphs dropping of the band from it's website. This message comes directly from the Non-Hellcat/Epitaph Leftover Crack website. As yet, no hint of a release date for the LP has been given. Mike writes: "I was waiting until i got more information on the whole thing but enough people keep asking about it so… As soon as I get more info on whats going on i'll post it. Here's the deal the Hellcat record. It's totally done, artwork and all (and has been for quite a while), but a few weeks ago they called and told us that the printer refused to print it with the 'Shoot the Kids' title, and their main distributor won't carry it. We talked about changing the title, but now they printer is allegedly questioning photos inside the booklet, and we have no idea what's going on. The release has been pulled for the time being, the band has been removed from the Web site, but not dropped." Personally, this whole thing stinks oh-too-similarly to the Frankenchrist Trials that eventually led to the break up of the Dead Kennedys.
