Ramblin' Jack Elliott will be releasing his Anti debut and first new record in a decade on July 11th, 2006. The album, titled I Stand Alone will feature a variety of musicians including Flea, Lucinda Williams, Nels Cline, David Hidalgo, Corin Tucker, DJ Bonebrake.
Elliott, who was mentored by the legendary Woodie Gutherie, is credited with inspiring a generation of folk and rock musicians from Bob Dylan and Paul McCartney to the Velvet Underground's Lou Reed, Bruce Springsteen and Beck.
Jack won a Grammy in 1996 for his `Southcoast' recording, and was also awarded the National Medal of Arts from President Clinton in 1999.
