Black Box Recordings, the label formed by Mike Hill of avant-hardcore outfit Anodyne, has announced plans to release the upcoming album from The Wayward.

Wayward is described as:

somewhere between the threadbare angst of Fugazi, the twisted battery of The Jesus Lizard, and the extraterrestrial explorations of Voivod.

The band includes former members of Carrion and the album is due out June 6th, 2006.
