Jason Shevchuk, former frontperson for None More Black and Kid Dynamite, has renamed his solo project OnGuard. The name is now Lagrecia and the 'chuk will be assembling a new band to support him.

Dana and I have been writing and it's going way better than I had hoped. It's some of the coolest shit I've done (but then again I say that about everything new). I think we are actually gonna be a band. I thought it unfair to dictate the name of the group just because I was doing it solo.

None More Black called it a day earlier this year after a long-rumored breakup.

OnGuard joined the Suburban Home family earlier this year as well. Expect Lagrecia releases on the label.
