Codefendants have announced three shows for Colorado. The shows will take place in June. The Pawns and Jonster will be joining them on all dates. Codefendants released their album This Is Crime Wave in 2023. Check out the dates below.

Rebelmatic: “Forever More”

Rebelmatic has released a new song. It is called “Forever More” and is off their upcoming album Black Hole Eats the Tornado which will be out on April 11 via Say-10 Records. Rebelmatic will be touring the US this spring. The band released their live album Rebelmatic Live at Fuzzfest WV in 2024 and released Mourning Dove in 2022. Check out the song below.

Today we are extremely excited to bring you the premiere of the new EP by Portland-based new wave-y post-punks Creature Party!

The EP is called The Meaning of Being and features six party rockin’ tracks. The songs are full of danceable beats and the band’s signature wit whether they are talking about bites sustained while working at the Playboy Mansion, exploring the frustrations that come with being kept in the dark, seeing the world through a UFO's eyes, celebrating badass women, or contemplating quicksand. We caught up with the band to hear the stories behind each of the tracks.

Sex Pistols with Frank Carter announce North American tour

Sex Pistols with Frank Carter have announced that they will be heading out on a North American tour. The tour will begin on September 16 in Dallas, Texas, and wrap up on October 16 in Los Angeles. Tickets go on sale to the general public on April 4 but pre-sales will begin on April 1. This is the band's first North American tour with Frank Carter on vocals. The Sex Pistols are made up of Steve Jones, Paul Cook, and Glen Matlock. Check out the dates below.

Mike V appears to have left Black Flag

Mike Vallely, who has been the singer for the reunited Black Flag for about six years, has apparently left the band. On his substack, he posted an journal entry called "My final tour with Black Flag." While he doesn't directly state that he has left the band in the body of the piece, he details how much of a miserable time he had on the last Black Flag tour. We reached out to Mike for comment, but have not heard back. You can read the the entry here and draw your own conclusions. since reforming, Black Flag has had about 13-15 members cycle through the group.

Born Ruffians: “Supersonic Man”

Born Ruffians have released a lyric video for their new song “Supersonic Man”. The song is off their upcoming album Beauty’s Pride which will be out on June 6 via Wavy Haze Records and Yep Roc Records. Born Ruffians released their album PULP in 2021. Check out the video below.

You Vandal to release new album, share “feeling zen -or- covered in shit” video

You Vandal has announced that they will be releasing a new album. It is called this is where people come to die and will be out on May 23 via Euclid Place Records. The band has also released a video for their new song “feeling zen -or- covered in shit” which was directed by Matthew Zagorski. You Vandal released their album Pretend I Don’t Exist in 2022. Mannequin Pussy perform on 'Everybody’s Live with John Mulaney'

Earlier this week Mannequin Pussy were the musical guests on an episode of John Mulaney’s Netflix show Everybody’s Live with John Mulaney. This was the band's debut live TV performance. The band performed their song “I Got Heaven” from their 2024 album of the same name. They were joined by Karly Hartzman of Wednesday and Jessica Lea Mayfield. The band also paid tribute to the late Sinead O'Connor with a kick drum cover printed with the iconic image of her ripping up the Pope's photo during her 1992 SNL performance. Chuck Ragan at the Velvet Underground in Toronto, ON 03/26

On March 26, 2025, Chuck Ragan played at the Velvet Underground in Toronto, Ontario. Cory Branan and Chuck Coles opened the show. LOUDSOUNDS: “Phobia Note”

New England-based alternative post-metal band LOUDSOUNDS have released a video for their new song “Phobia Note”. The video was directed by Calvin Cadoret, Timothy Brown, and Anthony Puliafico (who also did the editing as well as the VFX). The song was produced and mixed by Kevin Billingslea from The Halo Studio and was mastered by Aki McCullough of Nu House Studios. It is available digitally now. LOUDSOUNDS released their EP Index in 2022 and released their album Sundead in 2020. Check out the video below.

Divide and Dissolve release video for “Grief”

Divide and Dissolve has released a video for their new song “Grief”. The video was directed and edited by Sepi Mashiahof. The song marks the first time that Takiaya Reed has added vocals to a Divide and Dissolve track and it is off their upcoming album Insatiable which will be out on April 18 via Bella Union. Divide and Dissolve released their album Systemic in 2023. Check out the video below.
