A couple years back, Finch released What It Is To Burn, which sold pretty well due to the single of the same title. I decided to dish out the money on the CD, and it was quite disappointing due to being very generic and repetitive. But, to no surprise, was considered a good CD by many more mainstream magazines. In recent magazine articles, it's even been written that Finch helped establish the screamo scene. This is highly ironic, as there are few screams in that CD, and if they influenced that genre, then there would be no good bands in the screamo genre.

ahh Finch best band ever :) This is easily Finch's best album. And for all you old school fans out there, What It Is To Burn was generic fucking trash that can't hold a candle to the musical and artistic leap these dudes made with this record. And the reviewer? Let's hope he stays far, far away from a Word document or a pen and paper. i hope you get a vd for your crappy review....wish this band would just get back together Yeah, this CD is not WIITB, but it isn't horrible. At first when I heard this, I was like "Wow, this CD fucking sucks. What happened to FInch?" Well they broke up, but that's different. They tried something new, and I guess you sort of have to appreciate that. What It Is To Burn is probably my favorite album out of any band, ever. Say Hello To Sunshine was disappointing at first, but took some time to get used to. Too bad it was their last release though...it would have been nice to end their legacy with a better final release. Forgot to rate the album I hated this cd with passion when i first heard it cuz i was so into Finch's old sound but after a while it totally grew on me. Im way into this cd now Ink is a killer track. Man is this reviewer like 80% retarded or what. Was that english he was speaking in the first few paragraphs i couldnt tell. Does the reviewer just hate screaming? I mean, that is all he really talks about in this review. You know what? Funny how this reviewer seems to think there is more screaming on this album than the previous one...has he ever listened to either? I think the first paragraph pretty much explains the reviewers bias. They never liked the band to begin with...why would ANYBODY allow them to write a review on something that decided was horrible previous to listening to it? this band and review sucks News Flash: That wasnt Alex Pappas. o my fuckin god this reviewer sucks it so bad my dog cud do a beta review!!! and old ALEX PAPPAS made a comment i hope he reads this u suck dick u twat finch are so much better without u This is the worse written review I have ever read. Just cuz f Letters to you, Finch's become a Emo band? Nobody here is saying change is bad -- the evolution of a band's sound is what keeps them on top and in their listeners' hearts. But sometimes the change itself is baffling. Where Finch's last album "What It Is To Burn" featured relationships as a template (a trademark of emo), "Say Hello To Sunshine" uses.... My Favorite Food: Chilli Cheese Burritos, Hunan Chicken Damn man, I'm with the guy below, this album was really good. I'm suprise.....no wait i'm not suprised, all of the emo pussies our there hate this. We'll I've got news for you emo pussies, your music fucking sucks. Finch is not emo, emo bands sing about a blue paperbag in the middle of the street and how much that means to them, then they probably cry a little because they ate an all beef hotdog when they thought it was tofu. Fuck I hate vegitarians, just because you dont eat the meat doesn't mean the animals aren't still being killed and eaten. I've taken the liberty of eating three animals for every one that some jerk-off vegan wont eat (credits go to maddox at xmission for the idea) But in all seriousness, i'm sick of you fucking hippies writing reviews. You should know something before you start pumping out reviews, and if you have to rag on the band, just keep it to yourself while you look out the window sadly and listen to dashboard confessionals. I'm so fucking sick of all the "purist emo/screamo/numetal" whatever it is, fucking fans. Oh look at me, i've loved it since it first came on the scene, that makes me better than you, and have better taste that you. We'll fuck you, I have a blaring musical background from blues to rap to metal, and I happened to love this album, the riffs are intricate and actually take some talent to put together. Also, what the fuck, who gives a shit if they decided to scream more, artists choice, maybe they decided that was the direction they wanted to go in, they are not out here to please the arrogant fans who base their whole existance on being an "oldschool" fan. Its fucking music, take it or not, just dont criticize others for liking it or the band for making it, unless the band happens to be Ashley Simpson or any of that slag. I'm gonna go ahead and tell everyone to stop classifying bands in genre's and then get mad when the band strays, its called growth, bands grow change make different choices they are not YOUR band. If you dont like the bands, dont fucking listen to them, listen to what you like, and stop bitching. Finch was like my favorite band until this new TERRIBLE cd. It's just fucking awful. I'm still upset that I wasted my time DOWNLOADING the cd. I sent it to my friend who is the one who introduced me to Finch 4 years ago, and he just started laughing at how terrible it was. If you like this cd, you have no musical taste. All I can say is Finch just ruined themselves. Listen to the notes in the songs...how could anyone find that appealing lolllll. Fuck you haters, finch rocks! This album is shit! Right well, first off, it pisses me right the fuck off when you judge a band by their genre or their name or their last album or the singers fucking hair colour...its wrong. How about reviewing Finch without mentioning emo/screamo? I would not call Say Hello To Sunshine emo at all, and i think is is their best album so far. One on the best CDs i own. You can always tell when a review has been written by an arrogant, elitist shithead when they post comments like "This album sucks and you liking it makes you suck" in their own review. On the contrary, I think Say Hello to sunshine is Finch's best album to date. Finch's sound has evolved beyond what it is to burn, and thank god for that. If finch was to stick to its old style, there may be little difference between them and the emo band on the street. Finch's vocals have matured somewhat as well if you listened closely enough. For the reasons cited above, I think saying that this album is not just bad, but really bad, is unfair and at the very least, arbitrary. I call for a motion of no confidence on this reviewer! Hey everybody!! If you like Finch, check out LoveHateHero's new album, "Just Breathe..." from Ferret Records! It's available online at www.smartpunk.com and in record stores worldwide!! This album sucks and you liking it makes you suck. I agree with what that person said like 5 comments down about everything being emo. Like it or not...it's true. GuitarPlayer magazine classified Zakk Wylde as "emo-accoustic" or something to that effect. Emo has become a bit of a misleading name for a specific type of punk but in reality everything is emo. few songs are horrible because the vocals are screaming? and you cant understand shit half the time? few songs are horrible because the vocals are screaming? and you cant understand shit half the time? whoever wrote this review has to have no idea what progressive music is, or music in general. emo? emo you say, get real ok maybe there first cd was screamo, but wow this is not even close to emo. and i believe what Nate was talking about when he refered to screaming and singing was more of a refernce to bands like Story of the year and what not. when he screams or scrings its done tastefully. get a clue man! i dont understand how people are categorizing finch as 'emo' .... dashboard confessional is emo. finch isnt even screamo!!! people say 'wow, this sounds like all the other crap in that genre' finch was out before those other bands like tbs and shit. so to say that finch is copying off of those bands couldnt work. they started before them. and finch really does have their own sound. they throw everything together into one. and i dont belive ive ever heard any other bands that do that alot?? saying finch is like every other radio band? haha. how can you say finch is like hoobistank?! HOLY SHIT! ARE YOU FUCKIGN RETARDED?! hoobistank is rock, finch is finch. id like to say that you are probably one of the most egotistical fucks ever. you cant judge music on other music. you have to judge it by itself alone. finch has their own sound, theyre not trying to take over a screamo emo type sound. you said that a few songs are horrible because the vocals are screaming? and you cant understand shit half the time? well look at fucking mike patton man, you can hardly understand that guy, but hes fucking amazing. finch has alot of patton influence on the new album, but theyre not trying to sound like any of pattons projects. they incorperate his influece into their music. and they definately arent trying to be mainstream or anything. i dont belive finch sounds anything like any emo/.screamo band ive ever heard. finch has their own sound to them. I completely disagree with this review and the reviewers comments about their last album as well. While this isn't groundbreaking by any means, I think it's a pretty solid album and worth checking out. i bought the cd and i'm slightly dissappointed. My favorite tracks are Ink and Insomniatic Meat. I'm not really gonna judge them yet. I'll be seeing them live in like two weeks so i'll judge them after that / Finch - Say Hello To Sunshine Maybe you should leave for liking the CD. The Stutterfly and Clit 45 one's are worse but because their are a bunch of dumbasses liking this CD they made a bigger deal about the review. If this was the best review here, youd still be pissing and moaning cause of the 1 star. Punknews need to kick out a few reviewers from their team, including this moron. "I hate myself isn't screamo. If so, explain." I'm thinking that was his point... Finch is at the top of the metal core genre isn't evergreen terrace all gay......not that there is anything wrong with that its just kinda funny that a homosexual could still contain so much anger.....Finch is at the top of the metal core genre, maybe next would be story of the year. stop giving lectures on what screamo is!! Finch is not screamo....they are practically a hard rock group. i would say bands like kaospilot are continuing the screamo legacy also circle takes the square has a somewhat screamo sound but they are much more than that Score's for Evergreen Terrace, hells yeah. Get a good CD like "Sincerity Is An Easy Disguise In This Business" by Evergreen Terrace instead of this shit cake... This album was amazing. I know Nate Barlow said he was trying to get away from the screamo scene in AP, but I think that Say Hello To Sunshine was much better than What It Is To Burn. What It Is To Burn had 2 good songs (What It Is To Burn, Letters To You) but in Sunshine every song has its high points and is very addicting. I can't take this out of my CD player Umm yeah, I hate to break your hearts but screamo isn't really around anymore. The only thing I can possibly constitute screamo as would be Funeral diner and like La quiete. I am in comparrison with bands like angel hair, songs of zarathustra and rites of spring. ENGLISH, DO YOU SPEAK IT? Man, if they let this guy do more reviews i'm gonna quit reading the reviews altogether. What a joke. mabye try listening to the cd before you review it. Its sounds like you just made up random shit to say about the cd because your to goddamn stupid to be writing reviews anyway. Well I better review with more time with the album will be up on my site a week or so after the day it's out as I might add a new review on my site instead of one of my earlier ones. you're a moron. This cd is genius. word on the street is finch broke up. i sure hope it's true. "one of the best screamo bands in my opinion right now is circle takes the square" I need to spellcheck my internet typing... * Well I'll write a better review* You better not be reviewing the new darkest hour record !!! i actually want it reviewed properly and not some retarted kid going "this riff is good", "this is the best riff", "this riff is br00tal" grrrrrr i'm fuckin annoyed now. one of the best screamo bands in my opinion right now is circle takes the square let's try and stick to literate writers with at least a 5th grade education for record reviews, whaddya say? Emoholocaust? We still need to finish with the Hippie Holocaust. Worst. Review. Ever. The only good "screamo" (and i hate to use that term) band was I Hate Myself on the best label ever that is no idea records Sorry, but whoever reviewed this is completely fucking deaf (and not only because they like Hopesfall). It's fine to dislike Finch's music, but you could have at least formed an opinion that made sense. Finch did exactly the opposite from what this review says: sold out. They defined the modern screamo genre, Ink sounds like Faith No More, but way less good. But Finch emulating FNM is a lot better than their old shit, even if it's not that good. g-mouth...you gotta stop talking. dont judge an album until youve listened to it. thats only acceptable for movies like gigli (retro insult...whoa.). and try to stop fucking judging everyone around you because they arent like you. 20 years ago you would have been the weird fuck who looked like a girl. so calm down. the last thing the punk scene needs right now (and i include all bands even related to punk/hxc/indie/screamo/emo/whatever in "punk scene") is for the different factions to start fighting each other. everyone in this scene has enough problems already. everything that was underground becomes mainstream, because people constantly adjust to this. the new wave of hxc could be fueled by anger at emo. dont fight anyone except posers (people who wear ramones and sex pistols shirts who dont even like the music, etc.) and try to unite the punk groups. otherwise were gonna crash and burn. listen to more operation ivy-"unity". Whoever said that Faith No More was an emo/screamo band, please kindly kick yourself in the nuts for me you jack ass! This album is horrible. I haven't listened to it and I can tell you it's terrible. When will these indie/emo/screamo/hardcore fucks realize that they are basically girls? They have girl hair-cuts, wear make up, wear girl pants and talk more about out beauty techniques than music composition. I'm glad pop/punk has died..thats one plus....and real punk has finally gone back underground after that election. All these little scene kids go around creating rules about being 'scene' and these rules go against punk ideals (no rules, do what you want- great Bad Religion song btw). I wish, oh god i wish, that punknews.org could be filtered....take out all emo/indie/screamo...and make another site and call it emonews.org or call shitcity.org for all i care. fuck fashioncore, fuck rockstars...gimmee good music. kids, we are basically in the 70s right now, everyone is singing these emotional (this time, emotionally generic) songs and thinking they are so artistic or whatever. I'm waiting for a new wave of punk like what happened in the mid-late 70s and the mid-90s. the time is right, cut your hair, put away the mascara, think about naked boobies and be yourself and not model yourself after benji or that ogre in my matchbooks chemical romance. it's time for an EMOHOLOCAUST!!!!!!!!!!!1 so is this "what is it to burn " now???? So I saw "SLC Punk" today. Horrible. Score's for that. You better not be reviewing the new darkest hour record !!! i actually want it reviewed properly and not some retarted kid going "this riff is good", "this is the best riff", "this riff is br00tal" grrrrrr i'm fuckin annoyed now. Remember when Hardcore was Minor Threat etc, and Emo was Rites Of Spring etc, we'll those days are long gone and now shitty faux metal bands have stolen the term emo, well thanks for that.....MTV must be having a field day right now. yeah, you seem to have a better understanding of metal core. I do not think emo is your style Well if all goes well my next reviews will be the new Darkest Hour relesase and the Lovehatehero review, each are submitted already... i would understand if this reviewer mentioned Mike Patton in the review as an artist that influenced finch, but the only band he compares them to is funeral for a friend? and other generic emo. You should not be reviewing cds like this cause you have no clue what your talking about....stick to metalcore. ice-cold said this cd will attract more girls......did you listen to this cd at all? they scream so much more on this cd then wiitb someone below said this album was poppier than what it is to burn. what the? any album who has a chorus that goes "i miss you, I misss you so" from letters to day cant get any more poppier. There new album has an apocalypes them going and is alot darker then any thing on wiitb. you can not SELL OUT after releasing a song called Letters to You. point made SHIT review. Album isn't much better. The first track and 'Ink' seemed okay though. Even if it was a good review your gonna have 'this emo shit sux' and disses all over that technically could hurt the image of the use base... Hey brian, i can understand that you want to lighten the workload a bit, but you should really consider quality controll a little. While letting this horrific review through might save you or one of the other staff a little time, it also gives the site a bad name. A review like this (namely for such well known album) will get a hell of a lot of hits, but this review is less than worthy of anyone's attention. I hate most emo, but "What it is to butn" happens to be one of my all-time favorite albums. So I couldn't wait for this release to come out. This album has a darker/ heavier (deftones-ish) vibe to it. It's not bad at all compared to all that cliche screamo/emo crap out there today. I give it 4 stars because its actually a good album for a any huge Finch fan, like myself. I'm surprised that everyone seems to dislike it so much Say hello to my browneye as I wipe my ass with this piece of musical fucking grabage. 3 years ago, I really dug that Finch cd, so I listened to it a few days ago to see what I thought of it then. It's honestly not so bad. "Pefection Through Silence," "Grey Matter," and "What It Is To Burn" are some solid jams, and 3 years later are still better than any of the Matchbook Romance/The Used/Senses Fail bullshit to come out since.' man the reviews on this site dont stop dissappointing. Sure, this CD was not that good but you fail to at least mention that theyre at least giving it there freeking all to break out of the normal poppy punk screamo schmeemo mould that they forced into with WIITB(im so over that cd though). They set out to sound different, which they managed. If you dont like it, dont go ripping them to bits and then start comparing them to bands theyre "trying" to be. Thats fucking ridiculous. DONT COMPARE BANDS. Take them for what they are OUTSIDE the whole scene pit. This review would immediately have been more credible. Well I've heard this album and I have to agree with the reviewer. I wouldn't say they made a wise move by losing the screaming... sure they might not of lost the actual screaming but they definately lost any small amount of intensity they had, and made a move to a more poppier sound. Maybe they're trying to pick up little girls, who knows. I think they had more hope with their original sound. While a lot of the songs on What It Is To Burn are weak, Three Simple Words is a great track. I don't really have a beef with this album for the same reasons the reviewer does. I feel like they try to rip off people on this album so blatantly you can't help but feel guilty for liking it at times. The singer blatantly rips off Mike Patton at many points during this album and the rest of the band is always trying to add a Mars Volta element into the songs. I don't mind bands being influenced but blatantly attempting to copy others sound is just LAME. Clit 45 review is worse than this one... On a positive note to the reviewer, this was a tiny improvement on his As I Lay Dying review which was the worst I'd ever read. He now has the accolade of second worst review I've read. Like I say, kudos to the reviewer for this significant step forward. Grey matter was a good song matter of fact it was the reason I got what it is to burn, a bit of a let down, BUT unlike most of you guys I went and gave this a chance and streamed it on some AOL shit thing. All the songs kinda flowed into eachother and all sounded horride. gay "“Bitemarks And Bloodstains” has emo written all over, from the song title to the spoken vocals and standard generic emo framework." I think the lead singer has a decent screaming voice and it is very similar to glassjaws. I really dont see how it would be weak, cause technically all screaming is just ripping up your vocal chords. this reviewer is a douche....this album isn't great but does this guy have any clue what he is talking about. does funeral for a friend even scream anymore? well for one everyone has their own view about what is good, so im not going to winge on about other peoples views i dont agree with.personally, yea this album is different, way different.but that is a good thing, it did take me a good few listens to really appreciate it. but now i have, i really like it.sure its not what it is to burn, but everyone needs a change. the artwork is fantastic! I remember seeing them live a few years ago, and they screamed their entire first album, and I thought that was cool because it sounded good. Way to go ripping off LTJ's Anthem artwork. I wasn't that impressed with their last album, but found myself enjoying this one. They've dropped most of the generic emo/metal affectations and are actually quite listenable for most of the album. There is certainly a gigantic Faith No More/Mike Patton influence, and it's actually serving them quite well. " It’s a bad song, but it gets an extra point for not being followed by another bad song." This thing is so bad. The cd is no where as a bad as he says, but thats just his oppinion. I dont here really here any emo in any of these songs, its more like hard rock. And that casket for roderick usher songs sounds NOTHING like funeral for a friend. Wow, name one funeral songs that sounds anything like that, its sounds like dillinger escape plan but a little less technical. You have your oppinion but that was a really bad written review. This album is alot more technical than anything off of what it is to burn. This album is alot more inaccessible than there first cd so i would hardly call them sell outs. i like finch, by that i mean i like to blow my load on finch I read that the progression from their last album to this is equivalent to what Faith No More did going from 'The Real Thing' to 'Angel Dust'. I don't get all the bitching about the review. It's certainly miles ahead of the Clit 45 review and gives some sense of what a listener should expect. First off, Brian has the same as me, but I have a Y. This site is really popular now. Maybe you could post more reviews a week? Sundays could be "old record throwback day" where you post 5 records that came out 5 or more years before. Considering the fact you don't me and for all you know I could write a shit ass review because I don't want to waste my time on a shit ass CD you know Brian, you don't have to run every review you get when i heard this, i thought it was incubus (with a few grunts in there.) Hopesfall are a good band... Let me first state the obvious, this review is totally dumb. While I don't love the new album, it is much better than What It Is which had some of the most overt sell-out pop on it ever. With this release, they try to establish their own style, albeit, not unique by anyone's imagination. I would rather see them try to form their own sound then have their pop track, their screamo track, and their punk tracks. Musically this album is ten times better than their last. There is a heavy Counterfit influence now that this guy is in the band. I think that Finch will continue to get better and do their own thing like Hopesfall. Did you hear how different than their last two albums were? most of us would not write like we were born with down syndrome. Also, ff your gonna listen to some softer shit, listen to some Post Hardcore or Screamo before succombing to emo. The review wasn't all too bad in some parts. It's just that I went after every song and didn't have much to say as well. It's just bad... Rofl. I can write and I don't really try to prove myself when the only people who are gonna care are some emo fags that get pissed that I don't like the band that sounds like every other band in the genre... you know Brian, you don't have to run every review you get. Christ this review is comparable to a 6th grade book review. What's worse is that the reviewer says something along the lines of, "hahaha of course it sucks, I didn't try and wrote this in boredome land." Yes, that is not the ideal mentality or setting for good writing but jesus, most of us would not write like we were born with down syndrome. as someone in the news section previously stated: no, godsmack fought story of the year. disturbed fought these dudes, and i believe i heard finch won? who cares. whiny emo homos. didnt they get beat up by godmsack or someone a few months back? they should have finished the job. The CD smells, from what I've heard of it. Not only does it sound horrendously generic, but on top of that you can cleary tell the band is trying to emulate a level of maturity they have clearly, not yet reached. Of course my review sucks, I didn't try on it and did it in boredom land, but hey, it doesn't suck as much as the CD does. eh, i prefered their old style, but i appreciate the fact that they recognize their previous style of music has been copped and watered down by so many bands over the past 3 years. I thought 'what it is to burn' was an excellent release from start to finish. this album lacks the hooks and sounds like they reached a little too far....listening to a lot of dillenger, deftones, mars volta, atdi, glassjaw and faith no more from the sound of it. I like it, its cool enough, but was it worth the long ass wait? no. does it live up to the debut in terms of immediate impact on the listener as something new and special? no. did they consciously decide to evolver their sound and abandon their previous pop sensibilites and soaring chorus's? yes. oh well. its average. Not an amazing album, I consider myself a Finch fan as I am a big drive thru records fan (shock horror) and enjoyed their old e.p and l.p but how can this cd be considered a sell out?? I havnt found a "letters to you" or "what it is to burn", all I found was a few stand out songs and the most boring filler I have heard. Im gonna give it another chance but jesus that single sucks. They should stop getting tatoos and consentrate on making better music. This does sound a lot like those horrible radio rock bands like Hoobastank, Incubus, Adema, Chevelle, etc. hahah wtf, i don't even liek finch but this review is terrible. lol man you are a terrible reviewer Not a good review for just an okay album. Finch did exactly the opposite from what this review says: sold out. They defined the modern screamo genre, then they switched it up for album #2. We didn't need another screamo finch album. Also, I'm super glad the album wasn't generic metalcore. I didn't like it upon the first listen, but it has grown on me. Very good album. This is one of the worst reviews I`ve ever read ... rethink you genre definitions, don`t make up your miind before hearing a disc and improve your fucking writing skills man ... some parts of your review are repeated more often than lyrics in a TBS song ;-) ... I alos didn`t like this album on first listen, but it grows on you and is nowhere near shit! I hated the demos and gave this a chance and believe me, you`re rewarded for listening to this a couple of times ... never as good as Glassjaw, but musically somewhere near!!! Awful band, but I like the cover art. From someone who found their first EP and LP to have some decent songs, this new CD is fucking awful. They should have titled this CD: Say Hello to Sellin' Out. Then again, I am not even sure the mall punks will enjoy this. This shit sucks for anyone to listen to, fan or not alike. Glad to see these fuckers are miserable without me.Muahaha. There can be no Finch without me. There can be no Finch without me. As you probably already know, I, Jesse Carrington Raub, am male. This does not mean that I did not yearn for the invention of a female urinal. In fact, I have consistently voted for the female urinal each year in the "Most Needed Inventions for Next Year" poll run by my schnauzer, Schnitzel Face. See, I enjoy the company of females greatly. One of my favorite activities is to take long Sunday drives with the lady of the moment in my tricked out Chevy Malibu. We sing songs along with the radio and share flutes of sparkling cider (don't drink and drive, kids!). Inevitably, this leads both of us to a powerful desire to urinate. I usually pull to the side of the road and discretely relieve myself against a tree, but most ladies I have been with have not been able to accomplish the same. In fact, at least two ladies have soiled their clothing after an ill-executed attempt to crouch in the bushes. A female urinal is a fantastic solution to this problem! Since buying this one, my lady friends have been able to relieve themselves in the car and simply toss the contents out the window of the moving vehicle! And men can use it too! I have found that we only need to stop the car about one fourth as often now that I have a female urinal in my glove compartment. The retail box is also a nice touch. this album is pretty bad. they tried to change up their sound and come off sounding like a poors mans DEP (sans creativity and talent, of course). however, your review was even worse. to be honest i definitley thought it was funny, but this isn't open-mic night at some lame comedy club. try to be more objective next time, and maybe even listen to the album you're reviewing. hahahaha. PLEASE do more reviews of bad albums. seriously. wow this guy has no fucking idea of what his talking about, retarded coments like "this is emo" "this is mega emo" "this sucks" "they keep screaming after previously stating they wouldn't" "they keep screaming after previously stating they wouldn't redux" "they keep screaming after previously stating they wouldn't for the third time" doesn't tell me anything, please stop reviewing or try to do a better job next time by focusing on the lyrical and musical contents of the album, be objective you moron, this review is completely abysmal i'd like a mest style review for this record. that was the worst fucking review. i hate the album too, but you couldve done a LITTLE better than. track 1 sucks... track 2 also sucks, track 3 is emo and sucks. this review made me laugh.. but seriously. can we get a review of this album written by someone who hadn't made up their mind before even popping in the disc? "Finch is really trying to sound like an emo/screamo band, and the problem is they aren’t anything special" yet another "screamo" band trying to be Hoobastank. i have no idea why, but i liked this review. finch can suck a fat dick though. i hate this band "It’s a bad song, but it gets an extra point for not being followed by another bad song." I've only listened to it once, but they're definitely leaning a bit heavier on Faith No More / Dillinger territory than Glassjaw, and it didn't sound that bad.. |
