Champion is and will likely be heralded for quite some time as the quintessential straight-edge hardcore band of the Pacific Northwest, as far as the 2000s goes. Therefore, Different Directions, which captures the band's final show on CD and DVD, is likely to be as best a summarizing snapshot of their career as you're likely to get. However, does it actually deliver on all fronts like it should? Sure, albeit with slight criticisms to be had with each.

loved every second of both this dvd and cd, one of the greatest and most influential hardcore bands of all time. fucking amazing band rip I was on the floor laughing when i first saw the truth bot. This DVD is amazing. the truthbot was amazing. meh, Promises Kept was an ok album, but there is much better shit out there in the hardcore genre meh, Promises Kept was an ok album, but there is much better shit out there in the hardcore genre Hal sparks was at this show. Apparently he's straight edge and likes hardcore. Promises Kept, is proablly your best bet feeding. If I was looking to get a Champion CD, assuming the record store I'm going to has more than one, which should I get? I mean, I guess they only did like 1 album and 2 EPs or something, right? Anyway, suggestions would help. 1. Anyone know why they put "116" instead of the actual name "Next Year" on the packaging? i am not edge but this band and alot of the likes kick ass hahahahahahahahah @ Albert Belle. Oh man, Talk about a fucking belly laugh at that one. that's really cool man. I hate straight edge hardcore almost as much as I hate trick-or-treaters. |
