Throughout the later half of 2004, every Monday night (when he wasn't on tour) Henry Rollins hosted his own radio show on Indie 103.1 called "Harmony in My Head" (after the wonderful Buzzcocks song, of course). Part of Henry's agreement to do the show required that he be allowed to play ANYTHING that he wanted, no matter how obscure or eclectic...and thankfully, he used that opportunity to explore an extremely wide variety of music. Henry had such a good time wrting notes about each song that sentences became paragraphs and paragraphs became pages, and eventually led to the release of this book, fittingly named Fanatic!

Cool book. I have a signed first edition. Can I buy this at The Gap? Henry Rollins is a piece of shit. How was he a dick? I'm not trying to call anyone out, I really am just curious. this one goes out to all my brothers in sonic JIHAD !!! This sounds cool. I still really like Rollins. Yeah, he can be a dick, but I can't help liking his spoken word stuff, TV show, books, and some of his CD's. This sounds pretty awesome because I could see myself doing the exact same thing. I picked up his Shock and Awe dvd the other night. It's probably the funniest thing I've ever watched. I will definitely check out this book. How did Rollins ruin black flag? Ginn wrote all the songs, as far as I'm aware. He's got a new volume of Fanatic coming out later this year. You know his radio show has been back on Indie since the end of 2005, right? rollins is a dick, always has been. i mean fuck, he ruined black flag. he has taken advantage and walked on alot of people , then he sings about respect?!?! that time he played a cop fit him best. what a dick. You really want to suck Henry's dick, don't you? |
