| Lifetime / Shook Ones / Sinking Shipslive in Seattle2007 live show Review by: Archangel See others by this writer Only registered users can post comments Published on September 28th 2007
After watching the crowd-band interaction last night, I decided to invest in the entire Sinking Ships and Shook Ones discography. The hometown hardcore heroes all took full advantage of their rabid fan base to put on amazing shows, and I found myself regretting not knowing every word and member of the bands.

I love you Blacklung, but if you have HB and JBD, they're easily better than even the solid s/t I disagree with your remark about them "wisely only playing a handful of newer songs". I don't have their entire catalog, but I think s/t is some of their best work. "Crucified" is actually by Iron Cross not AF... I think it's a New Jersey thing only. I've seen them in NJ, Philly and NYC and they only played it when they were in the county of New Brunswick in Jersey. Why don't they ever play Theme Song anymore? That's easily my favorite Lifetime song. I agree, I'm really surprised they never play All Night Long. It's easily in the top 3 best songs on the new album, but they always play Just a Quiet Evening which is really meh. Man, I wanted to go see Lifetime, but I already left for school. I would have been disappointed that they didn't play "All Night Long", though. downer? "Order Form" is one of their best songs. I really hate when bands call out people who aren't in the pit. Sometimes you just don't feel like dealing with a bunch of sweaty assholes and crowdsurfers....is that really a terrible thing? Score's for the lineup of this show. Score is for the fact they play just as long headlining as they do opening for bands. Is it really that hard to go 45 minutes? The only time I saw them go over 35 was at the Middlesex County College show (where they actually okayed Theme for New Brunswick Basement Show) Funds from Shook Ones stage dived and landing on me! Sinking Ships didn't actually play that Agnostic Front cover. For some reason Danny just introduced it that way. The song was Deadlocked off Disconnecting. This is probably one of the best shows I've been to. |
