maybe i'm just crazy, but the second song on their myspace has a Stone Temple Pilots quality to it, at least the begining.

pretty cool tunes. reminds me like if, you took a band like jawbox and mixed it with mastodon.

its funny. i saw these guys on myspace at random and added them because their picture was of the singer and he had this ferocious, awesome beard. and that was basically the sole reason.
i got around to actually listening to the music after that and its pretty intensely good. i don't listen to metal all that much but i appreciate good music when i hear it.

I didn't mean it was old, I just like their earlier stuff better. It was more to the point and didn't drone on as much.

Heard a lot about this band and never bothered to check them out. Heard it at a friend's party and thought it was awesome. Bought the album and thought it was pretty good, but not completely worth the hype.

Ever since they released the Second EP I fell in love with these guys (and I bought it without ever hearing them). But once they posted 2-3 tracks from this album on myspace I knew something happened. Oh right, they lost one of the founding guitarists. My bro told me the album as a whole is pretty good, but the songs I heard were waaaaay too Neurosis and newer Examination of the... for me. I wished they still screamed all the time because that Second EP is my fav EP of all time. Maybe I should buy this and give it a try, but from the songs I heard I would rate this 2/5.
