Reno, Nevada's favorite sons, Cobra Skulls have returned with three new jams in the form of the Never Be A Machine 7".
Never Be A Machine does a fine job of showing three different facets of the Cobra Skulls sound, and for an uninitiated listener would serve as a nice introduction to the band's style of punk/folk/crust/rockabilly/whatever.

"I don't know if deaf is the right word, I just know they didn't impress me live. You seem to be a fan, where would you suggest a newcomer start?" I'll buy YOU through itunes. Keep you in my pocket. Take you out when I'm itchy. Pet you. Feed you. "Where can i get this!?" Where can i get this!? I hate how the band tries to use the word "cobra" in their song titles. Very stupid. Score is for that. One of the best active bands out there! I hate how the band tries to use the word "cobra" in their song titles. Very stupid. Score is for that. I really like this band. But that wasn't always the case. I thought whatever. Sitting Army was played a few times to me, by different people, while hanging out. About the 8th time, I said, "Holy Shit". And just like that, I love it. you should probably start with Dead End Stories If you think this band just sounds like another so-cal band then youre deaf. Go reno!! Yes! This EP is great! I can't wait for their next full-length. shit's dope yo! I got a soul! The Streets of Cairo is a great, Never be a Machine is awesome, and these guys are great kissers. What more do you want? These guys are insanely good. Can't wait to pick this up. If you think this band just sounds like another so-cal band then youre deaf. when i first saw the title i thought it was a cobra starship album, or whatever that band is I saw these guys open for Against Me! a few months back and was thoroughly unimpressed with them. Sounded just like standard So-Cal punk. Maybe I missed something... |
