Bad Taste Records signs Quit Your Dayjob
For the first time in three years Bad Taste Records signs a new Swedish band, Malmö-based Quit Your Dayjob. The band plays music "With a twangy guitar, a synthesizer way past its due date and snotty drums sounding like the B-52s on 45 rpm" and the label boasts they make "The Cramps sound like Devo in a wheelchair."
The label will release a self-titled MCD on October 25th that was previously released on I Made This. The band is also contributing a cover of "Broken Face" to the upcoming Pixies tribute on Düsseldorf Recordings.
