Greg MacPherson / The Frenetics European tour cancelled
Greg MacPherson and The Frenetics have cancelled their European tour. Greg commented on his website:
Yes it's true; our European tour has been cancelled. Pretty sad for us huh? Somewhere in amongst all the excitement of going overseas and eating foreign foods in foreign lands we neglected to notice that a million other North American bands were thinking the same thing at the same time. I have an expensive ticket to Germany that has to be used between now and next November though so don't count me out just yet. I WILL drive ridiculously fast on a German highway with a tiny car full of guitars and amplifiers at some point in the next 12 months... you mark my words!
In the mean time, I've decided to tour the US as a consolation
prize and should be hitting many of the eastern and mid-western states
in February. Maybe if I hit them hard enough some of the right
wing Christian fundamentalists will pack up and move to mars or
to the bottom of
the ocean or something? We'll see.
Dates will be announced as they're confirmed.
Meanwhile if you tune in to Much Music's Going Coastal in the coming weeks you can catch some Frenetics footage from the Halifax Pop Explosion. Meanwhile a video for the song "Journalist" from the record Grey Veins to the Parking Lot is on the way soon.
