Stretch Arm Strong signs to Warner Bros
Columbia alternative weekly paper the Free Times is reporting that Stretch Arm Strong has signed to Warner Bros. Records. The article reports that Trustkill, Ferret Music, Epic and Warner Brothers had all taken an interest in the band once they fulfilled their obligations with Solid State/Tooth & Nail, which released the three full lengths Rituals of Life (1999), A Revolution Transmission (2001) and Engage (2003). Check out the full article in the Free Times, which features a fairly candid interview with lead singer Chris McLane about their reasons for signing, their goals as a band and their opinions on the inevitable detractors.
Stretch Arm Strong will record sometime in April with producer James Paul Wisner (As Friends Rust, Gatsby's American Dream, Further Seems Forever) for an August release. There's a tentative European tour with Burns Out Bright in the cards as well.
