Charities: Additional bands join Syrentha J. Savio Endowment T-Shirt project

The Syrentha J. Savio Endowment has announced the addition of From Autumn To Ashes, Converge, Bane, Motion City
Soundtrack, The Get up Kids, Murder By Death, and Stretch Arm Strong, to
it's growing repertoire of bands joining in the fight against breast
cancer as part of the The Shirts for a Cure Project. The bands join a group including My Chemical
Romance, Thursday, Hot Water Music, Thrice, The Bouncing Souls, Strike
Anywhere, and Taking Back Sunday
The Syrentha Savio Endowment is a non-profit organization that provides funding for chemotherapy and other medication for underprivileged women who cannot afford the growing expense of fighting breast cancer. Vagrant Records released a two-disc compilation titled In Honor to raise money for the cause.
In just under 30 months, the group has raised more than $160,000 through a series of
events that include benefit concerts, dinners, auctions and awareness
walks.
