Thorp signs Drowningman
Thorp Records has signed Drowningman. The label already has two forthcoming releases planned for the "emo-metal-hardcore forerunners," who reformed last May.
Don't Push Us When We're Hot, the band's debut full-length for the label and first batch of all-new material since 2001's Equal Vision-released Drowningman Still Loves You EP, will be released this coming August, though the band promises copies to be available on tour by late June. For now, you can check out a demo MP3 of "Major Disappointment Reporting For Duty" here.
Also, Thorp is reporting that an EP of material from the same recording sessions for the full-length will be available some time in mid-2006.
