No Ghost Mice April tour / Chris Plan-It-X goes on adventure

Chris of Plan-it-X Records and Ghost Mice recently announced he was taking a break from the band and label to (as I understand it) walk the earth like Caine from Kung Fu for a month or so. Here's his post from the label's website:

the bad news first. ghost mice will not be touring in april. i'm very sorry. i was looking forward to seeing so many great people on this tour. i swear we will make it up to you in the future. i just could not go on tour right now for many reasons, personal and medical. please try to understand. instead i am taking a little break from my life. i am going on an adventure. i am going on a quest. hopefully i will be a better, stronger person when i return. i will travel many miles. i really need to take a break. i am leaving the plan-it-x mail order duities in the gentle hands of my dear friend bella. spoonboy has tackled the task of finishing up the booking for plan-it-x fest. oliver (who you may remember from sleeping in his back yard at plan-it-x fest #1) will be locating this school bus that we have been talking about for so long. hannah jones, fugitive from indiana, will also be helping out with general plan-it-x things and feeding mr jefferson, as well as pulling the string around for him. these people are my heros and i love each of them. thank you. my quest will take me to many new lands and i well meet some old friends as well as, hopefully, make some new ones. i will ride my bike through unknown streets. i will learn my way around the back alleys of many new cities. i will be broke thr whole time. i have 500$ and that doesn't exchange so well some places. so i will play guitar on street corners (as much as my messed up arm will allow) and try to make money for food. for the next 36 days i will not be answering emails. this is my last communication until after then.

Head to the label's site for the full post, which likens Chris' quest to that of Bilbo Baggins. No dwarf involvement has been confirmed. Updates on all the label's up and coming releases along with contact info for the immediate future can be found at plan-it-x.com.
