Love forms Bastard

Courtney Love, who has recently been viciously attacking the major labels and the music industry in general, has formed a new band. The band will be called Bastard (not to be mistaken with Lars and the Bastards). Bastard includes former Hole drummer Patty Schemel, Louise Post of Veruca Salt on guitar, and Gina Crosley of Rockit Girl on bass. Love will sing and play guitar also. They will be in the studio next week. Epitaph will fund the band and release the record. "We're hoping to make a South of France, AC/DC, fuck off record," Love said in a statement.Source: Sonicnet
