X to release live DVD and CD in May

To commemorate the 25th anniversary of their debut album Los Angeles, X is releasing their first live DVD. X: Live in Los Angeles will be out May 10 on CD and DVD. The band was formed by John Doe and Billy Zoom in 1977. The two discs will be released via Shout Factory who describes the band:

X was one of the first U.S. punk bands, but by adding rockabilly and country elements, they became a major influence on the Americana/alt-country movement of the last 15 years, not to mention subsequent waves of punk bands.

They've also posted a handful of sample tracks in Windows Media and Quicktime format and you can check those out here.
