Legion of Doom mashups cause some friction
According to this story, The Legion of Doom who are signed to Trever Keith's Antagonist Records have caused some controversy over their remixes of popular punk and emo tracks.
A combination of Taking Back Sunday and Senses Fail called "I Know What You Buried Last Summer"
led to some problems and the track has been pulled. In many cases, at least one band (or label) involved has contacted the group regarding each mash-up they've created and many of them were less than pleased.
Nevertheless, Legion of Doom is putting the finishing touches on their debut album: Incorporated which promises to be a collection of fully licensed mashes that will, according to the story: "benefit both masher and mashee."
