Saves the Day working on new record, planning tour

Despite a preponderance of rumours suggesting otherwise, Saves the Day has announced plans to release a new record in the early Fall. The band describes the disc as "twelve to fourteen new tunes [that are] are aggressive, up beat, melodic, and filled with fire. We feel good about things. The songs are angry and they want to tell you all about it."

The band has also announced their intention to begin touring again around the time of the album's release. The band released In Reverie in 2003 and followed it with the Ups and Downs B-Sides compilation.
