Darkbuster's Lenny Lashley injures hand
Darkbuster singer/guitarist Lenny Lashley seriously injured his left hand in an unspecified accident at a Boston University construction site last week. As a result both Darkbuster and Lashley's punk-country band Lenny and the Piss Poor Boys have cancelled their upcoming dates. Darkbuster will be off the road until until at least mid-July. The band has set up a Paypal account on their website for fans interested in helping with Lashley's medical costs. In addition, a benefit performance for Lashley will be held at the Middle East in Cambridge, Massachusetts on Sunday, June 26th from 3-10pm.
Darkbuster released their second full-length A Weakness For Spirits in April. Lenny and the Piss Poor Boys are currently shopping for a label to release an album completed in late 2004.
