"Punk: Attitude" premiering July 9th on IFC

"Punk: Attitude," a comphrensive documentary looking at the punk rock movement in the 1970's and 80's, is set to premiere Saturday, July 9th, at 10pm ET/11pm PT on the Independent Film Channel. Contributors to the film include Tommy Ramone, Glen Matlock and Steve Jones, Mick Jones and Paul Simonon, Henry Rollins, Thurston Moore, and Jello Biafra among a slew of others.

Directed by Don Letts (1999's Westway To The World: The Clash), the film also looks at several aspects of the movement including anti-fashion, the media, CBGB's / The Roxy, and specific profiles of the Ramones, the Sex Pistols, and the Clash.

As well, the DVD for the film is set to be released September 6th.
