Punkcore signs The Scarred

Punkcore has announced the signing of Southern California-based The Scarred. Formed in 2003, the label says that the band has "made a mission of returning to the roots of punk rock and
bridging the gap between modern street punk and the inspired sounds of
1977."

In late 2005 The Scarred will enter the
studio to record their second record, and the band is planning a pre-release tour for the Autumn of 2005 to prep
audiences on their material that will appear on their Punk Core debut.
