Glassjaw drops off the Used tour
After announcing their first tour in over two years supporting the Used, Glassjaw has announced that, due to another flare-up of frontman Daryl Palumbo's Crohn's disease, the band will be dropping off the tour. Guitarist Justin Beck posted a letter on the band's website (viewable here), emphasizing that "Glassjaw is still a band [and] this is still something that we love doing." There has been no word as of yet regarding a replacement for the band on the Used's tour, although 30 Seconds To Mars are still scheduled to open.
In related news, the Palumbo-fronted group Head Automatica have also been forced to cancel all of their dates with Finch, and it is assumed that they will also be cancelling their Canadian shows in support of the Used, Underoath and Alexisonfire next month, as well.
