Download Propagandhi's "Die Jugend Marschiert"
G7 Welcoming Committee Records has posted a track with lyrics from the upcoming Propagandhi full length Potemkin City Limits. The song "Die Jugend Marschiert" can be downloaded from AmericasArmy.ca now. The website spoofs that of America's Army, a video game released by the U.S. Army to provide "young Americans with a virtual web-based environment in which they can explore Army careers." The person mentioned in the song is Colonel Casey Wardynski, the director of the U.S. Army's Office of Economic and Manpower Analysis (OEMA) and project director for the video game. The now-popular game was devised in 1999 as a way to improve the Army's recruiting effort and exposure to children.
Potemkin City Limits arrives on October 18th via Fat Wreck Chords in the U.S. and G7 in Canada.
