Music: My Chemical Romance release video for "The Ghost of You"
My Chemical Romance has posted the latest video from their platinum major label debut, Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge.
The video for "The Ghost of You" was directed by Marc Webb is described as an "epic, war-themed concept" can be found in a number of formats: Windows Media (56),
Windows Media (100),
Windows Media (300),
Windows Media (450),
Quicktime
The band began working on the video in early May, just prior to their stint on the Warped Tour but an unfinished version of the video was unceremoniously leaked to the internet in the summer. Despite the setback, vocalist Gerard Way was fairly gracious about it saying:
It's not such a bad problem to have people wanting to see our video so badly that they're trying to find it on the Internet or leak it. Sure you're bummed artistically, because it's not finished, but it's a pretty awesome problem
The band continues to tour extensively in support of the album, and has announced a US headlining tour in the fall with Alkaline Trio and Reggie and the Full Effect. Following that, the band will head across the pond for another set of dates with Every Time I Die.
