Mark Hoppus (Blink-182) launches Podcast
Mark Hoppus of Blink-182 recently launched his first Podcast. Hoppus, who played bass in the band, is currently working on a new project with Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker while the group is on an indefinite hiatus. Titled Plus 44, the band will release their full length debut next summer.
Hoppus has launched a website for the podcast, and iTunes users can preview the Podcast directly using this link.
Mark described the Podcast on the website:
Welcome to a fantastic waste of time and a desperate cry for attention. This is going to happen every two
weeks, and will consist of all things rad: bands you haven't heard of, bands you have heard of, and bands I
haven't heard of. and maybe, if we are all very lucky, bands I have heard of. I'm going to use this as an
excuse to discuss things important (and unimportant) to me and my friends.
Mark opens the show with "Silly Girl" by the Descendents. Blink-182 will release Greatest Hits on November 1st. They released their last record, Blink-182 in 2003.
