The Militia Group signs fielding

The Militia Group has signed Long Beach, CA's fielding. The band will release their self-titled debut on October 18th. Mean Street magazine describes the band as "sweet like late Badfinger and nearly as irritated as Jello Biafra; a lone hollyhock in a truckload of turnips." and the label refers to them as "bass-driven grooves of `90s Brit-pop and
the timeless melodies of Middle-American acoustic ballads."
