Mest launches new video, drops off Social Distortion tour and is replaced by Bullets And Octane

Mest has added a new video to their recently posted a media player. The video comes from their upcoming full length for Maverick. The record, titled Photographs, is the follow up to 2003's Mest. It is expected on October 18th and was produced by John Feldmann of Goldfinger. The disc will also include a 45 minute DVD with backstage footage from their last headlining tour.

You can check out video for "Take Me Away (Cried Out To Heaven)" here. The player also includes two tracks from the record.

The band also recently dropped off their supporting slot with Orange County's Social Distortion. The band explained the cancellation:

Unfortunately, Nick is
suffering from Carpel Tunnel Syndrome and he has been drumming in pain for
sometime now. Nick is going to see a doctor back in Chicago this week.
But, Nick will still be playing with us at The Vic Theatre show on Oct
17th, the Long Island/Looney Tunes in-store on Oct 19th and the New
Jersey/Vintage Vinyl in-store on Oct 22nd. So please come out to see us
at one of these performances. After that we will be taking a short break
so that Nick's wrist can heal.

Social Distortion will continue the tour with The Dead 60's now becoming main support. Bullets And Octane have been announced as the new opening band for the remainder of the dates.
