Anti-Flag mixing upcoming RCA debut
Anti-Flag is currently in the final stages of recording for their upcoming as-yet untitled full length for RCA. Chris #2 has been documenting the process with an almost daily studio diary.
Chris had this to say:
We listened to all 18 finished tracks in a row. [...] Right now myself, Justin and Head are going through the final background vocals [and while] I think every song is great, it's going to be a battle to pick what songs and what tracklist will end up on the final record. We finish up final vox, claps, bells and whistles tomorrow night; take the weekend off and then start mixing the record early next week.
The band has also enlisted the help of some friends to perform backup vocals on the album. Of note were Ben from The Vacancy, Gunner of Much The Same, Ian formerly of Pipedown, Marc of Thought Riot, and Hunter of AFI.
In addition to mixing, the band will join the upcoming Bad Religion US Tour which starts later this week. Throughout the recording process, the band has been performing scattered dates including previously announced shows with Green Day in Canada.
The band previously released The Terror State in 2003 and Death of a Nation in 2004.
