New band from the members of Salem

Former members of Salem, who split up in August recently announced the formation of a new band called Currents. The new lineup includes all the members of Salem except for vocalist Adam D'Zurilla. Drummer Dave Miller has taken over vocal duties in the new band.

The band has written at least 18 tracks and hopes to begin recording later this year. The band also includes former members of As Friends Rust who went on to form Salem after that band split in 2002.
