Sick Of It All signs to Abacus
New York City's hardcore staple, Sick Of It All has joined Abacus Recordings. The band left Fat in April after releasing three full lengths, Call to Arms and Yours Truly, Life on the Ropes, a live album: Live in a Dive and an B-sides collection: Outtakes For The Outcast.
The band will release their ninth full length, Death To Tyrants, in early 2006. The album will be recorded with Dean Baltulonis (Bouncing Souls, Give Up The Ghost, Most Precious Blood) at Atomic Studios this winter with mixing being handled by Tue Madsen (The Haunted, Heaven Shall Burn).
Drummer Armand Majidi had this to say:
Although the songs growl in a new way, they're Sick of It All through and through, with something to offer all our fans from every era
The band has a handful of dates lined up in November with Pennywise.
