Thursday announces Shirts For a Cure winner; new shirt from Saves The Day/Senses Fail
The winner of the Shirts For a Cure recent Thursday T-shirt design contest has been announced. The band has selected the design of Colby Sara of Surrey, British Columbia, Canada for their entry in the ongoing cancer benefit from the Syrentha Savio Endowment.

Proceeds from the sales of the shirts will go to the SSE, a non-profit organized by photographer Mark Beemer in order to
provide funding for chemotherapy and other medication for underprivileged women who cannot afford the growing expense of fighting breast cancer.
In related news, the Saves The Day and Senses Fail have unveiled a special charity shirt themed after their ongoing fall tour. That shirt can be viewed or purchased here.
Previous participants in the popular program have included Kid Dynamite, Bouncing Souls, From Autumn To Ashes, Converge, Bane, Motion City Soundtrack, The Get up Kids, Murder By Death, and Stretch Arm Strong, My Chemical Romance, Thursday, Hot Water Music, Thrice, The Bouncing Souls, Strike Anywhere, and Taking Back Sunday.
Vagrant Records also released a two-disc compilation titled In Honor to raise money for the cause.
