Bloc Party begins work on new full length
According to this NME story, British quartet Bloc Party have already begun work on the follow up to their successful full length, Silent Alarm.
Since the release of the album, the band has toured the US twice as well as releasing both a remix album, Silent Alarm Remixed, and a new two song EP, Two More Years. The band has also been
nominanted for Best Alternative Act at the MTV Europe Music Awards which take place in Lisbon on November 3rd.
The band plans to begin recording the album in February and are currently projecting a late Summer 2006 release. The group has already recorded some new material with producer Ben Hiller (U2, Blur) but has not confirmed Hiller as the producer.
