Hanalei reveal details on forthcoming full length
Chicago, IL's Hanalei will shortly begin recording for their full length due out next March on Thick. The project was initially formed by Brian Moss, formerly of The Ghost but now includes a full band..
The album, currently titled Accident Report will include ten new tracks, and lyrics based on "non-fictional accounts, memoirs, and observations." For the recording, the band will include pedal and lap steel, banjo, rhodes, and harmonized vocals. Specifically, Josh Staples (The New Trust/Velvet Teen), Joe Cannon (Early Risers/Afflictions/Check Engine), Edward Lo (Sleepout/May or May Not), and a few others will all be appearing on the album.
Artist/web designer David Holtz has again been tasked with handling the design and layout for the album. Following the release, Moss plans to enlist Steve Reidell to produce some remixes to be released on a followup EP or LP later in the year.
