Smoking Popes plan reissues, tours, new material
A recent interview with Chicago's Q101 radio station revealed some of the future plans from the Smoking Popes.
Apparently, the upcoming reunion for Flower 15 will not be the end for the band. Plans are underway to reissue their out-of-print albums as well as a corresponding tour.
Beyond that, the band is also planning to work on new material and hopes to record an new album sometime in the future.
The Chicago-based band included Josh, Eli and Matt Caterer and Mike Felumlee who went on to Duvall, Colossal and Alkaline Trio.
They broke up in 1999 after releasing Born to Quit, Get Fired and their second Capitol release, Destination Failure. A posthumous release of the covers collection titled The Party's Over followed in 2001.
