A new track and benefit show from Suburban Legends
Ska revivalists The Suburban Legends have announced a new track on their myspace page. The track is the first new material posted by the band since the tragic circumstances which claimed the life of trombonist Ryan Dallas Cook.
You can find "Golden Touch" on their myspace page.
The band has also scheduled a special Ryan Dallas Cook Memorial Fund Benefit Show on November 29th at 7pm in the Huntington Beach High School Auditorium.
Regarding the fund itself, Brian Robertson explained the purpose and beneficiaries:
100% of the Memorial Fund will be distributed to the musical programs at the Huntington Beach High School. Dallas attributed his love of music and performing to HBHS Marching Band. He would always constantly remind me that he wanted so badly to set up a show or an event where we could donate funds to the marching band.
More information, including information on how to send a gift to the fund can be found on the band's website.
