Tours: The Pogues announce US tour

The Pogues are coming stateside in March to play a few dates for us Yankees. After playing their annual holidays tour with Boston punks Dropkick Murphys, the oft-inebriated London/Irish folk punks will cross the pond for a string of 5 dates on the East Coast of the U.S., including a St. Patrick's Day show in Times Square. As yet, tour support has not been announced.
The band has also posted a "Travelpogue" on their website, an account by a community member documenting "the trials and tribulations he and his family endure as they make their way to The Pogues' 2005 shows in Birmingham."
The highly influential band released The Ultimate Collection earlier this year, a two disc set, containing a "best of" compilation and a live set recorded in 2001 at the Brixton Academy.
