Lovitt in 2006: Denali DVD tentative release date; Bats & Mice set lineup; Haram, The Grey releases
The upcoming posthumous DVD from Denali does not have a hard release date, but Lovitt is hoping to issue the DVD at the end of January or early February.
The disc, which follows the band's split in 2004 is titled Pinnacle and will include 85 minutes of content including: a 44 minute concert, videos for "Hold your Breath" and "Relief," alternate angles for "The Instinct" and "Normal Days," over 150 pictures of the band members, two home movies and a hidden easter egg.
Haram¹s upcoming S/T full-length CD/LP should be out around March and the
band will be doing a 5-week tour starting at the end of February to support
the record. Haram features members of Majority Rule, Pg. 99, City of
Caterpillar, and Malady.
The Grey's full-length, Asleep at the Wheel, will also be released at the
same time as the Haram full-length. Sonic Deadline Records in Canada
released a limited run of the EP in silk-screened digipaks.
Bats & Mice has come full circle with their line-up and Jonathan Fuller has
re-joined the band. Luke moved out to Oakland, CA, in 2004 and joined
Totimoshi and with Engine Down coming to an end, it worked out that Jonathan
could once again work with Ben and David. They have been working on new
material and hope to record a full-length at some point next year. No word
on when the first show with this line-up will be (this version of the Bats &
Mice never played live) but hopefully they will be ready by late spring. The band previously released Bats and Mice in 2001.
