CBGB's considering move to Las Vegas

After failing to obtain a last minute reprieve, Hilly Kristal, owner of legendary New York City club CBGB's is considering a move a little further south.

According to one source, Kristal is currently in negotiations to secure a new home near the Aladdin Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas.
Specifically, the Desert Passage, a 475,000-square-foot retail and entertainment strip that surrounds the Aladdin.

The club had been fighting for some time to obtain a renewal of their lease with the Bowery Residents Commitee and despite obtaining support from local government and many fans, was denied a lease renewal in September.
