Steve Jones talks about Sex Pistols' Hall of Fame induction

Steve Jones of the Sex Pistols recently spoke to the LA Times about the band's induction into the Rock'n'Roll Hall of Fame. The band, along with Blondie, Miles Davis and others were confirmed last week.

Jones said:

It's about as close as you can come to getting knighted in America, It's amazing. Before when I said I didn't care whether we got in -- well, I was just mad. [...] I think we should go wearing tuxedos. What's more punk than that? The swindle continues.

The band had been passed over by voters for more than four years. While singularly influential on the fledgling UK punk scene, the group only released one proper album, the 1977 release, Never Mind the Bollocks.
