Abacus updates: Sworn Enemy, The Distance, Glass Casket, Burn the 8 Track
A new track from Sworn Enemy has surfaced online. The track comes from the band's Abacus debut, The Beginning of the End which is due out January 24th, 2006. The band, along with
Century Media's God Forbid will provide support for legendary thrash/metal act Anthrax when they begin their first reunion US headline run in January.

Labelmates the Distance entered the studio
this week to record their debut full-length with Shep Goodman (Head Automatica, Bayside). The Rise, the Fall, and Everything in Between, as it is currently titled, is tentatively set for release in late Spring or early Summer next year.
Glass Casket, who recently replaced guitarist Ian Tuten with Jake Troth (Seneca, Desist) are in the studio with producer Jamie King working on the spring follow up to 2004's We Are Gathered Here Today.
Finally, Canada's Burn The 8 Track have just finished recording their new album with Justin Koop (Grade, Silverstein). Fear of Falling Skies is due out this spring.
