Thursday posts update from the studio

Thursday, who were among the first handful of bands confirmed for Warped Tour 2006, have posted an update on the progress of their ongoing recording session.

So we're back in the studio continuing work on our new record right now. Playing the holiday shows and getting to see some of you again was a lot of fun and has us even more excited about finishing our record and getting back out on the road. This is our 3rd session up here at the very snowy Tarbox studios and things are going really well.

Yesterday, Tim sat around working on new songs since most of his bass tracks are done. Tucker walked up and down the stairs 8000 times since most of his drums are done. Geoff tracked vocals on a song that we resurrected from the War All the Time sessions. Tom and I continued working on guitar tracks.

We couldn't be happier with the way this record is turning out. We really can't wait to get it out there and share it with you guys. All in due time. I hope all is well with everyone and we look forward to seeing you soon.

In addition to the Warped Tour, the band will be appearing on select dates on the Taste of Chaos tour. Both tours coincide with the release of their upcoming full length for Island Records. The album will be their first since 2003's War All The Time.
