Jack White injury postpones White Stripes Japanese dates
Jack White has been diagnosed with an "acute vocal chord problem" and has been forced to postpone the White Stripe's Japanese tour dates. White has been told not to speak or sing for two weeks by his doctors to give his vocal chords time to heal.
The band is still optimistically planning to be a part of this year's Big Day Out in Australia and New Zealand with Iggy and the Stooges, Franz Ferdinand, Kings of Leon, The Mars Volta, Sleater-Kinney, the Living End, and Youth Group. The Japanese tour is expected to be rescheduled for a later time.
The band released Get Behind Me Satan in 2005.
