My Chemical Romance DVD beefed up with second DVD
My Chemical Romance has revised plans for their upcoming release titled Life on the Murder Scene. The discs follow their successful major label debut, Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge.
Though originally announced as a CD/DVD combo, sources are reporting that Life in the Murder Scene has been beefed up with the addition of a second DVD.
The disc aims to document the past year, with the CD portion including rare tracks and demos and the DVD set to include videos, live performances, online content and a video diary. The album was originally scheduled for release on November 8th, 2005, but has been pushed back to 2006 as the band compiles more footage and additional content.
The new second DVD will include live footage from the two-dollar-bill show, TV appearances ("Late Night With Conan O'Brien" and MTV's "Discover and Download"), performances taped for various online music outlets, plus music videos (including both versions of the clip for their breakout single "I'm Not Okay (I Promise)") and behind-the-scenes footage.
The label is still aiming for a March 21st, 2006 release date.
