Vagrant signs Protest The Hero

Vagrant has signed Whitby, Ontario's Protest The Hero. The quintet will see the first US release of their 2005 full length Kezia, previously only available in Canada via Underground Operations.

A Punknews.org review described the band as "the aggression of thrash metal, the intensity and passion of hardcore punk, and the crooning of emo-tinged vocals." The album itself is a 'situational requiem', similar
to a concept album in that it tells a story. It is an elegy of a young
woman's (Kezia's) execution, chronicled from the perspective of three
characters. Each character is designated a section containing three songs,
with a single retrospective finale concluding the album.

The album will be released on April 4th, 2006 and prior to that, they have dates lined up supporting The Bled. In addition, they will spend February on a tour with The Fall of Troy. You can click Read More for those dates.
