Tours: Thursday / Minus The Bear tour for Shirts for a Cure

Thursday has announced that they will headline the first Shirts For A Cure tour. The Island act will be joined by Minus the Bear, The Number 12 Looks Like You, and We're all Broken. The tour will feature exclusive shirt designs with all proceeds going to the charity.

Shirts for a Cure is a project of the Syrentha Savio Endowment, a non-profit organization that provides funding for chemotherapy and other medication for underprivileged women who cannot afford the growing expense of fighting breast cancer. Vagrant Records released a two-disc compilation titled In Honor to raise money for the cause and dozens of bands have contributed shirts to the successful project.

In related news, the band says that their upcoming full length will be "done very soon" and new material is expected soon. Besides this tour, the band will also be appearing on the Canadian leg of the Taste of Chaos 2006 tour.
