Rise Against begin work on new full length
Rise Against recently began pre-production with producer Bill Stevenson at a studio in Wicker Park. The band is working on their sophomore full length for Geffen and the follow up to Siren Song of the Counterculture.
The band had this to say about the progress to date:
Our producer/comrade/fifth member Bill Stevenson flew into the friendly confines of Chi-town last week and we spent most of the week at a studio in Wicker Park with him laying down some songs and ideas we've been rocking out to lately.
So, as you can imagine we are pretty stoked so far and will be spending the rest of our time out in Colorado to lay this mother out at The Blasting Room.
The band plans to work on the recording before a March 18th show in Miami, Florida with Nine Inch Nails, Rob Zombie, Coheed and Cambria, and more at Bicentennial Park.
The group also recently reissued their 2001 debut, The Unravelling and their single "Swing Life Away" spent more than twenty weeks on the Billboard Modern Rock singles chart.
